The Irish pub on South Shepherd Drive is hosting events throughout the weekend to get your St. Paddy’s Day fix! On March 15, head to Kenneally’s for their St. Patrick’s Day Pre-Party, complete with live music all day, limited special event menu (including the famous Stew & Homemade Guinness Bread and corned beef sandwiches), and more A Rich History of Irish Heritage in Houston. The Houston St. Patrick’s Day Parade is deeply rooted in the city's history, dating back to the 1880s, when early parades were held in “Irish Town”, a neighborhood near St. Patrick’s Church on Harrisburg Boulevard.
