JEFFERSON, LA – The Krewe of Argus, originally scheduled to roll in Jefferson Parish on Mardi Gras Day, will roll at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025 with the St. Patrick Parade of Jefferson to follow. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime, historic event where Mardi Gras meets St. Patrick’s Day on Metairie Road. Rolling down Severn from West Napoleon onto Metairie Road all the way to the railroad tracks, we're the only parade to San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In 2025, There’s also St. Patrick Day Parade on Metairie Road and then a Downtown Irish Club Parade in the French Quarter. Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Parades are considered another opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day outdoors. It seems as if the entire city is on the street with picnic baskets, umbrellas, and their recreational vehicles – enjoying one of the biggest street parties of the year! The annual Metairie Road St. Patrick's Day parade will take place at noon in front of Rummel High School on Severn Avenue, goes down Severn to Metairie Road
