Oranmore/Maree will hold its first Culture and Heritage Week from Wednesday March 10 to Wednesday 17. The 2023 Oranmore St. Patrick’s Day Parade this year was organised by The Oranmore Community Development Association, and was a huge success! This year marked the return of the Oranmore St. Patrick’s Day Parade, following the Covid 19 Pandemic, and it did not disappoint. During this time, all services will start in Dublin Airport, go to Busáras and back to M50 from first service until 16:00. The St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Monday 17th of March 2025. The parade is proposed to start at 11.00am and usually finishes at 1.00pm. The starting point will be at University of Galway and the collection point is the Black Box Car Park. The Galway St. Patrick's Day parade begins at 11:30am on Sunday 17 March with this year's theme 'Olympics 2024'. The parade will take over one hour to complete taking the route first used in 2019. Participants will march from University Road, over the Salmon Weir Bridge, to Eglinton Street, past the viewing stand at Eyre Square and onto The downtown Chicago St. Patrick’s Day parade kicks off at noon Saturday.
