Since I don't live in Savannah anymore, I book a room on Broughton or Bay. St. Patrick's Day Update - January 27, 2022 During this two year pandemic break of not hosting a festival to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, our organization has been having discussions with City of Savannah leadership and other integral partners about the experience of St. Patrick's Day on Savannah's Waterfront. Go cup zone ends at Jones St., but Victory Drive was my arbitrary boundary for where the general St. Patrick's madness ends. Arguably a little further north but the popular spots north of Victory that are busy any weekend will be especially so this weekend. Last year it was "over 1million people" in Savannah for the holiday. People were shoulder to shoulder on River St. Was pretty awesome. There's My wife and I have lived in Savannah since April 2023, so this is our first time being in Savannah during St. Patrick’s Day. We are expecting our first child in literally a week ( Feb. 29 lmaooo) and my parents are coming to Savannah to visit since this is their first grandchild. I would avoid the pubs right off the parade route as they're usually packed. Paddy Reillys is great, they have music most of the day. I usually head over to the pubs in Sunnyside and Woodside in Queens. If you don't like St Patrick's day then avoid the parade route and any vaguely Irish bar and you won't know it's happening.
