SAVANNAH – The 26 th annual March of Dimes Shamrock Run 5K will kick-off St. Patrick’s Day festivities on Friday, March 1 in downtown Savannah. The 5K will begin and end in Ellis Square. The route will travel west on Bryan, turn south on Jefferson and then east on York, passing through Telfair Square and then to Wright Square. Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day season comes alive with the greening of the Forsyth Park fountain, Celtic Heritage festival, and annual March of Dimes Shamrock 5K Run.
