Irish pride continues on the North Shore with a St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday March 16 in Rocky Point/Miller Place and Farmingdale; and on Sunday, March 23 in Ronkonkoma. RONKONKOMA, NY — The Ronkonkoma St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee has chosen Dan Moloney to lead its 2025 line of march as grand marshal, officials announced in a news release. Many businesses and families have supported us, also making great memories while watching our parade. We run this parade solely on donations raised by fundraising throughout the year, but we also give back to the community by making donations to Toys for Tots, St. Joseph’s Food Pantry, and Wounded Warriors, just to name a few. Parade Steps Off at 2:00pm The parade will start on Hawkins Ave. at School Street, head South down Hawkins Ave ending at Thorne Street. Download Parade Route Map The event, which began in 1980, has grown to become the largest St. Patrick ’ s parade in Maryland and is the seasonal kick-off for many local businesses. Over the years, the DIAC — a 501(c)(3) social organization — has donated more than $590,000 from parade proceeds to scholarships for local high school students and to other charities
