Parade Schedule. Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Parades are considered another opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day outdoors. It seems as if the entire city is on the street with picnic baskets, umbrellas, and their recreational vehicles – enjoying one of the biggest street parties of the year! The parade follows a route down Severn to Metairie Road and continues along Metairie Road to the parish line, offering plenty of festive fun along the way. Downtown Irish Club St. Patrick's Day Parade We will begin the parade at Washington Park. We will have a pre-party at the Marigny Brassiere (corner of Frenchmen St and Royal St) beginning at 4PM.
