A great occasion and a wonderful day for the community to gather together to mark this important day. It was a wonderful family occasion enjoyed by one and all. Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the hurch Street, Main Street and Lower Main Street, Kingscourt on Monday 17th March 2025 between the hours of 12:30pm and 3pm for the purposes of accommodating the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Kingscourt. KINGSCOURT. One of the earliest parades to be hosted, the annual Kingscourt parade will set off around 1pm and is one of the biggest and most colourful in the north of the county. This popular event is always a great time, with lively music, colourful floats, and plenty of excitement for all ages. There are prizes too for the best floats.
