Our 2025 Parade Commentators are Patrick Johnson – Host of the For St. Patrick's Day 2025, we're also seeing a few organized pub crawls, some suburban bashes and of course a lot of action at the three-story Irish bar Old Shillelagh in Greektown. Detroit St. Patrick's Day Parade time The parade, which will include marching bands, floats, and more, sets up at 12:30 p.m. and starts at 1 p.m. Ahead of the parade, runners and walkers can The day's events include a mass at Most Holy Trinity Church, the Detroit St. Patrick's Parade, and the Taste of Corktown. The parade is expected to draw between 80,000 and 100,000 people. Overview. The 67th Annual Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade assembles at noon on 6th Street and Michigan Ave. Starting promptly at 1:00 pm. The Parade, which includes marching and pipe & drum bands, color guard units, floats, clowns, novelty groups and marching units, moves west on Michigan Ave., passes the reviewing stand and disperses at 14th Street, approximately 2 hours later. Each year, the group puts on the Detroit St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which was canceled for 2021 due to the coronavirus. The virtual doors for the trivia night open at 6:45 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m. A $20 donation to the Detroit St. Patrick’s Day Parade is required for entry. March 13.
