The St. Joseph's Society celebrates St. Joseph with a parade through the French Quarter. The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Convention Center Blvd. and Girod Street. It includes 16 floats, nine marching bands and a whole lot of guys dressed in tuxedos. Here’s how you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day — all without leaving the French Quarter. The Parade Downtown Irish Club Parade. Sunday, March 16, 2025, 7 p.m. This parade rolls from the Bywater to the French Quarter, making several pit stops on its way to Bourbon Street. March 23, 2025 Friday before St. Patrick's Day Starts at 6 p.m. Molly’s at the Market 1107 Decatur Street .- a French Quarter parade with riders in carriages and marching groups. Saturday before St. Patrick's Day starts at 1 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Assumption Church. The Irish Channel Parade with Irish themed floats, marching bands, countless men dressed Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Parade. The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day rolls down the lower section of Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue. Marchers and riders in the parade will have plenty of green beads and doubloons to throw, along with the makings of Irish stew (minus the beef). If you prefer staying downriver on Paddy’s Day, the Downtown Irish Club Parade rolls from Piety and Burgundy in the Bywater into the French Quarter at 7 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17, 2025. Saturday, March 15, 2025, 1 – 6 p.m. The parade begins on the corner of Felicity and Magazine streets around 1 p.m. The parade rolls up Jackson Avenue, turning onto St. Charles Avenue, turning onto Louisiana Avenue, and back onto Magazine Street. March 17, 6 pm Marigny/French Quarter/CBD, Free The downtown St. Patrick’s Day parade will begin at 6 pm with a step-off at Washington Square Park, then meanders through the Marigny up Royal Saturday prior to St. Patrick's Day, March 17 (unless the 17th falls on a Saturday) Tracey’s St. Paddy’s Day Party - An annual celebration in the Irish Channel, with lots of corned beef and cabbage, Irish beverages and green beer located near the end of the Irish Channel Parade.
