The parade will continue on its normal route Saturday, March 15. It 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade March 15, 2025 Downtown Rockford. Parade Info: Parade LINE UP is at 1:00PM – Parking lot on 4th ave and 7th street Parade KICKOFF at 3:00PM. Parade Route: Route will be 7th Street to State St to Water Street. What: Disco Chicken will host a rooftop party for prime viewing of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, then an after party begins with DJ Wyldone. When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15 Where: Disco Chicken, 212 E. State St., Rockford. Mary’s Place St. Patrick’s Day Party The Parade was canceled during 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, but Gorman says they still felt like St. Patrick’s Day because of all the planning and time that went into that event. With a long-standing tradition near 50 years, many people have come and participated in Rockford's St. Patrick’s Day since the very beginning. The Irish Marching Society presents the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Parade line up is at 2:00PM Parade Kickoff at 3:00PM. The Parade runs up 7th Street to Charles to State, crossing the river and proceeding to Main then turning left onto Main Street and disbanding near the park District Administration Building (the old post office). The route this year will be from the RPS 205/old BMO bank parking lot up 7th Street to State St and end at Water St. If interested in marching please register on the website.
