The Sellwood-Westmoreland tradition continued under cloudless blue skies on summer-like Saturday, March 16, as St. Agatha Catholic Church and School once again hosted their St. Patrick’s Day Parade and day-long celebration. It consists of reading and personal meditation upon a text, followed by a communal meeting. In Portland, we meet in the parish office of St. Agatha from 7-8PM on Wednesdays. The day will start with Mass at 8:30 am with the homily preached by Deacon Pashley, followed by Exposition, the Rosary, and Benediction. Deacon Pashley will give a talk, Preparing for Holy Week, to help prepare our hearts for this sacred time and make sure Holy Week stays prevalent in the midst of spring break.
