For the last few seasons in March, Hofstra University men's lacrosse has done a special edition uniform. Often, these would be a St. Patrick's Day colorway to pair with their annual Irish Festival celebrations. Hofstra and Warrior partnered to create the “Wounded Warrior” uniform, a camo based jersey blended with accents of the Hofstra yellow and blue. They dove full into the military theme, and somehow, the Hofstra colors work really well against the standard camo. Before the Hofstra Men's Lacrosse team go to battle with Delaware Saturday, Coach Tierney gave the team a little more incentive to play hard. This afternoon, the Hofstra Pride team was welcomed with St. Patrick's Day themed helmets and gloves.
