St. Patrick’s Day bar scene is impossible. The bars are full and they have a hold-out line outside. It is NOT a day to bar hop. I.D.s are carefully inspected and occupancy laws are strictly enforced. Add the drunken suburbanites who think this is a big party day, puking in the alleys, and you’ve chosen a bad day to visit.
