My Mom's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day so I often make her a themed card. This year I made her a cheerful "crazy" card using Karen Burnis Tim Holtz Crazy Birds St. Patrick's Day Card by Pam Rettele Celebrate St. Patricks Day with this handmade St. Patricks Day card. This humorous St. Patricks card features a funny bird which was stamped colored in with water color markers. The hat has a bit of shimmer to it. The sentiment reads Happy St. Patricks Day and was stamped with black ink. I stamped The collaboration with Tim Holtz, Sizzix and Stampers Anonymous is a HOMERUN in my book! I've made several cards using the NEW Crazy Things die set and I had so much fun! The new dies cut out all of the images from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous "Crazy Things" stamp set! As on Vintage Valentine's Day Card, I created the focal point using the Tim Holtz Tailored Thinlits Die Set and cut the various layers from colored and metallic cardstock and adhered them together using Distress Collage Medium. Before adhering the metallic papers, I lightly sanded them, and inked them with Walnut Distress Stain using a foam Like many, I am a huge Tim Holtz fan. I wanted to make a TH themed St. Patrick's Day card using just his products, with the four-leaf clover from the Sizzix Lucky Love Impresslit. I am not a natural at mixed media. I have to experiment, think, study Pinterest, and more, to come up with a mixed media piece I really like. Today, I am sharing few cards made using Tim Holtz - Bird Crazy stamp set. I was waiting to get it since CHA. It is an adorable, quirky set of images. I love the most is the expressions on their faces. In my cards I tried to give words to their expressions and it is so much fun it cracks me up every time i look at them.
