The festivities will kick off with the Get to the Green 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run starting at 7:30 a.m., the St. Pat’s Parade is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and Festival Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. St. Pat’s in Five Points, one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the Southeast, announces the lineup for its 43rd event, set for Saturday, March 15, in Columbia, South Carolina. This year’s event features a variety of local, regional and national acts set to perform across multiple stages, including headlining performances COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Road closures begin Friday ahead of the St. Pat’s in Five Points. The event kicks of Saturday with the Get to the Green 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run at 7:30 a.m., followed St. Pat’s in Five Points was established in 1983 by Five Points merchants and other local businessmen to increase the visibility of Five Points businesses when Columbians were leaving town to go to Savannah for their week-long St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Today, the festival is put on and managed by the Five Points Association (FPA) with The COMET will run FREE shuttles to and from the St. Pat's in Five Points festival every 30 minutes, 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m., with shuttle drop-off/pick-up at the corner of Blossom and Laurens streets. The annual St. Patrick's Day celebration in Five Points has grown from a tiny parking lot celebration into the largest one-day festival in South Carolina with 35,000 participants. The 43r d annual festival in Columbia takes place on March 15. It offers live music, entertainment and family-friendly activities for both locals and visitors. St. Pat's in Five Points 2025 is a Cashless Event.
