Bellingham’s annual Runnin’ O’ the Green 5k and 8k race is back on Saturday, March 15. The run and walk race begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of West Laurel and Cornwall Ave in downtown Time to get your Irish on! Just like the famous parades in New York, Chicago and Boston, Bellingham’s parade honors local first responders and safety personnel. Dress in your finest green attire and join the short walk from Bellingham’s waterfront to Boundary Bay Brewery. Time to get your Irish on! Grab your St. Patrick's Day kilt and join us for our annual run/walk with the best of Bellingham. Once done with the morning festivities stick around and enjoy the Bellingham St. Patrick's Day Parade. Costumes highly encouraged-the greener the better! Two distances to choose from: 5K or 8K. Register early for the best Runners can pick up their packets from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday at BBay Running or from 8 to 9:15 a.m. on the day of the race at Boundary Bay. After the run, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at noon. March 14-17, 2025.
