The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on the third Sunday in March and runs from Greenbush-Driftway to Scituate Harbor. In addition to the parade, the celebration incudes the Mad Hatter’s Ball, the Annual Mayor’s Race, and the St. Pat’s Plunge into the chilly Atlantic Ocean at Peggotty Beach. No parking on Front St After 10:00 AM. Parking will be hard to come by in Scituate Harbor. We advise people to use the parking lots at Scituate High School, which will have shuttle busses bring you to the starting area of the parade, and at Widows Walk Golf Course parking lot (look for parking sign), where shuttle buses will pick up and be dropping parade goers off at the corner of 1st Parish In 1999, parade chairman Ed Kelley took over the operation until the Scituate Harbor Business Association took it over in 2016. In 2024, the Parade Committee, named “Scituate St. Patrick’s Day Parade Inc.,” sponsors the celebration. Parade Events. The parade has grown five times in size since its beginnings in 1993.
