The St Patrick's Day Festival - one of the highlights of the Luton calendar - is finally back after three years away due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The rain could not dampen spirits as Luton celebrated St Patrick’s Day with their annual parade and concert on Saturday 18 March. The parade left Luton Irish Forum at 11am before making its way through the town to St George’s Square where the entertainment included Kings of Connaught, Ritchie Remo, Abbie Mac and a special ‘dance fusion’ showpiece which was a collaboration between the St George’s Square, Luton was a sea of umbrellas and green on Saturday as thousands got in the St Patrick’s spirit, with top acts including Ritchie Remo and The Kings of Connaught. The Parade day was the highlight of a festival that started on March 2 with a BIG Pub Quiz and later in the month, the sell out show Six Marys. This St Patrick’s Day we are delighted to have partnered with the Luton Irish Forum to organise the Luton St Patrick’s Festival, running from 12 th – 17 th March 2022.
