The annual West of England St Patrick's Day parade won't be taking place this year, due to lack of funds, the team behind it has announced. Taking to the official W.E. Irish website, an official Bristol’s 2025 Irish celebrations will instead take the form of a Fleadh Cheoil on St Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 16). This is essentially an Irish music festival and will include a free event at the Glass Arcade in St Nicholas Market as well as a ticketed event at the Revolution Bar around the corner. The 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been cancelled due to funding deficits and the challenging economic climate, according to W.E Irish. Despite the setback, smaller Irish cultural events will still take place in Bristol, keeping the spirit of the celebration alive.
