The Madison Shamrock Shuffle is a Madison favorite that happens close to St. Patrick’s Day every year and is the first major race event of the year. No matter what the weather brings, thousands are dressed up to run in a timed 10K or 5K run or you can choose the untimed 5K walk option. Welcome to Madison’s St Patrick's Day Parade 2025 celebration! It’s time for ‘the wearing of the green!” The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee invites you and your organization to participate in the annual parade around Madison’s beautiful Capitol Square. We welcome sponsors, parade entries, volunteers and spectators to participate as we celebrate the Irish culture.
