Sunday, March 16: The Detroit St. Patrick's Day Parade is set to start moving at 1:00 p.m. with an estimated 80,000 to 10,000 spectators in attendance. Sunday, March 16: The 2025 St. Patrick's Day Corktown Races will happen from 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. The races will start on Michigan Avenue and finish in front of Michigan Central Station. The day's events include a mass at Most Holy Trinity Church, the Detroit St. Patrick's Parade, and the Taste of Corktown. The parade is expected to draw between 80,000 and 100,000 people. Overview. The 67th Annual Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade assembles at noon on 6th Street and Michigan Ave. Starting promptly at 1:00 pm. The Parade, which includes marching and pipe & drum bands, color guard units, floats, clowns, novelty groups and marching units, moves west on Michigan Ave., passes the reviewing stand and disperses at 14th Street, approximately 2 hours later.
