St. Patrick’s Day in Vancouver falls on March 17, and throughout the week, various Irish celebrations unfold, including the vibrant Vancouver’s CelticFest, lively pub parties, and a medley of Irish-themed events. In the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day season of 2025, expect a range of festivities and an assortment of other engaging events. To celebrate its 53rd St. Patrick’s Day, the Gastown alehouse is starting at 9 a.m. with an Irish Brunch Party. All-day entertainment includes live bands, Celtic dancers, a piper and DJ Zeus. 53rd St Patrick’s Day Festival @ The Blarney Stone (Mar. 17) – Celebrate at Vancouver's longest-standing Irish pub all day long with doors opening at 9am for an Irish brunch party with live bands, Celtic dancers, an Irish piper, and a DJ. Greta Bar is hosting hundreds at its St. Patrick’s Day party, complete with $5 games, drink deals, and an epic dance floor until 2 a.m. Those who party here will have a chance to win some fun prizes, including a free trip to Whistler and Canucks tickets. Shamrock’n Race @ Burnaby Lake (Mar. 17) – Dress up in your best St. Paddy’s Day costume and run (5km, 7mi, or half-marathon) around Burnaby Lake. Local craft beers, wines, and ciders, plus seasonal menu items, will be available for purchase during the St. Patrick’s Day-themed event. There will even be a special deep-sea DJ and a live fiddler for you to get your groove on.
