St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. when the bands begin playing and kilt-clad units begin marching forward with their best plaids on display. The 43rd annual San Diego St Patrick’s Day Parade is organized by the Irish Congress of Southern California. It starts on March 16, 2024 at 10:30 AM on 5th Ave & Laurel Street, makes its way up 5th Avenue, then turns right on Upas Street, right on 6th Ave and follows 6th Ave along Balboa Park to Juniper. The beloved annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is set to return to San Diego’s Balboa Park on March 15, 2025. While I personally love the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, the energy of a Saturday with my family in the cool spring San Diego weather enjoying a lively parade and festivities is something I’m really looking forward to experiencing.
