Whilst the parade is the main event, Dublin's St. Patrick's Festival extends through the whole weekend, offering something for everyone to enjoy. Some highlights include: Pop Up Paddy's Cabaret: A festival favourite, featuring comedy, music, and theatrical performances. We wish to advise customers that due to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Tallaght, the following diversions will be in place on Monday 17 March 2025 from approx. 10.00hrs until 17.00hrs: Route 27 Towards Jobstown Normal route to Greenhills Road, divert via Airton Road, Belgard Road, Belgard Square North and back on to normal route. Towards Clarehall To facilitate access to and from Dublin city centre, Dublin Bus will have several temporary bus termini in place between first bus and approximately 5pm on St. Patrick’s Day: Wood Quay (pick up) : Routes 26, 37, 39, 39a, 52, 60, 70, C1, C2, C3, C4, G1 and G2. Dublin’s St Patrick’s Festival will occur from 15–17 March 2025, with an wide-ranging range of events that sharply highlight Irish culture as well as heritage. An important highlight of the celebrations is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade 🎶🎭, which kicks off at 12:00 PM on March 17 from Parnell Square, proceeding past a number of Wheels is offering FREE rides on the 30R (Rapid) bus this weekend, Saturday, March 15 & Sunday, March 16, 2025, for the City of Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Avoid traffic and parking—take the 30R! The 30R connects the Livermore Transit Center, BART, and the Dublin Civic Center for an easy ride to the event. All daytime events will be free of charge, along with the full day and night programme on St. Patrick’s Day. No ticket is required and entry is on a first come, first served basis, subject to capacity. Currently there is only one ticketed event. All ages are welcome between 12 noon and 6pm.
