This year, at 8:00am on March 17th, we begin the day by attending Mass at the Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. All are welcome to attend. While Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day parade has been around for over 200 years, there is a new parade associated with the holiday that is still in its infancy, but has become a very popular one. While tens of thousands of people converge downtown every year for Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, not everyone who wants to is able to attend.
