February 27, 2025 – Providence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee Dinner Reception at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. March 1, 2025 – Pawtucket St. Patrick’s Day Parade. March 8, 2025 – Providence St. Patrick’s Day Parade. March 11, 2025 – The Pipes are Calling at PPAC. March 15, 2025 – Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade The three routes will be on detour from 7AM to 3PM to accommodate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. After that, Routes 56 and 57 will be on an alternate detour from 3 PM to 6 PM to accommodate a partial closing of Smith Street. The following detours will be in effect on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 7 AM to 3 PM: Route 50 (Douglas Avenue): Newport, Rhode Island – The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Routes 60, 63 and 67 in Newport on Saturday, March 15, 2025, to accommodate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The following detours will be in effect on Saturday, March 15, 2025: Route 60 (Newport/Providence): 100 Westminster Street. Providence, RI 02903 This is a secure location. Providence St. Patrick’s Day Parade (providencestpatricksparade.org) steps off at noon on March 8, from the intersection of Smith Street and Hilltop Avenue, proceeding down Smith Street to the (3.8) The annual Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off tomorrow at noon. The parade starts at Smith Street at Wyndham and continues down Smith to the State House. I am not a big fan of parades, but I was glad I went to this last year. It featured marching bands with pipes and drums, Irish dancers, the Providence Mounted Starts: Parade starts at Smith and Rosebank Streets and ends at the Rhode Island State House. March 15, 2025 – Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade. March 16, 2025 – West Warwick St. Patrick’s Day Parade. March 17, 2025 – St. Michael’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet.
