The Princess of Wales has confirmed her St Patrick's Day plans, with the royal due to visit the Irish Guards. The royal serves as the colonel of the regiment. Kate, 43, traditionally spends St March 12, 2025 at 5:42pm GMT. The Princess of Wales is to attend the Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day parade in a solo engagement next week. Kate, who is colonel of the regiment, missed the Middleton’s no stranger to St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. In fact, she was appointed honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022, a position she took over from her husband, Prince William. Before that, she often accompanied him to the parade, and this year she’ll be stepping out solo to represent her role. Kate is set to spend St Patrick's Day in a traditional way, as she will dedicate her time with the group. The future queen will mark the annual celebration at the Wellington Barracks in London.
