You and your guests are invited to start the day with an exclusive brunch with President Tania Tetlow at the historic Harvard Club of New York City. Join us for a festive pre-parade brunch at the Harvard Club, featuring live Irish music and a special address by our guest speaker, Fordham University President Tania Tetlow. Under a gray sky, a field of white Fordham University hats marked the area where Rams and Ram supporters marched in the 165th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City. The caps, which had the classic Fordham Block-F on front and a shamrock in the back, were given to the University supporters who would walk up Fifth Avenue for the yearly Flashes of Fordham maroon dotted Fifth Avenue on March 17 as University alumni, friends and families of all ages marched in New York City’s 249th St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Maroon sashes flashed between white snowflakes on March 16, as the Fordham University contingent marched up Fifth Avenue for the 252nd New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade. With temperatures hovering in the mid-30s and light snow falling over Manhattan, nearly 500 Fordham alumni, friends, and families, braved the weather—perhaps warmed by 2023 St. Patrick's Day Brunch and Parade. March 17 started out as a slushy affair, as some 400 members of the Fordham community navigated piles of snow to queue up for the 256th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The St. Patrick’s Day Foundation honored Fordham University for its performance in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade for the fourth consecutive year. And, as they have for decades, more than 500 Fordham students, alumni, family, and friends joined their Irish brethren on Fifth Avenue, tipping their caps as they passed St. Patrick’s Cathedral on March 16.
