To facilitate access to and from Dublin city centre, Dublin Bus will have several temporary bus termini in place between first bus and approximately 5pm on St. Patrick’s Day: Wood Quay (pick up): Routes 26, 37, 39, 39a, 52, 60, 70, C1, C2, C3, C4, G1 and G2. Route 1 Towards Shaw Street St. Patrick's Day Festival in Dublin. Whilst the parade is the main event, Dublin's St. Patrick's Festival extends through the whole weekend, offering something for everyone to enjoy. On March 17, Dublin Bus services will definitely operate according to a Sunday schedule. Road closures for the parade shall bring about diversions on approximately 60 routes from 6:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon. As a result the following diversions will be in place; Route 44 Towards Enniskerry Wayne Avenue will be closed between Fifth and Bainbridge streets for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Dublin Pub restaurant. The reroutes will begin Friday at approximately 10 a.m. and last all day through Monday. Regular bus routing will resume at the beginning of the service day on Tuesday, March 18. As a result the following diversions will be in place; Route E1 Towards Northwood LIVERMORE, Calif. – Wheels is providing FREE bus service on the 30R (Rapid) this weekend, March 15 and 16, 2025 to the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Festival. Route 30R connects the Livermore Transit Center, BART, and the Dublin Civic Center grounds. It then turns left at Christchurch Cathedral into Lord Edward Street, Nicholas Street and Patrick Street before finally finishing at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Times Of The St. Patrick's Day Parade It is strongly advisable to be at the parade route before 10:00 on the day. The route gets crowded fast and the best spots will be gone well before noon. Over half a million revellers are set to descend upon Dublin on St Patrick's Day. The parade celebrating one of the biggest annual events in Ireland will take place on March 17, 2025. We wish to advise customers that due to the Blanchardstown St. Patricks Day Parade, the following diversions will be in place on Monday 17 March 2025 from approx. 11.15hrs to 13.30hrs. Route 38 Towards Damastown Normal route to Blanchardstown Village, divert via N3, Snugborough Road Bridge and back on to normal route. Towards Burlington Road Wheels is offering FREE rides on the 30R (Rapid) bus this weekend, Saturday, March 15 & Sunday, March 16, 2025, for the City of Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Avoid traffic and parking—take the 30R! The 30R connects the Livermore Transit Center, BART, and the Dublin Civic Center for an easy ride to the event.
