The 2025 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is dedicated to the memory of Janet O’Sullivan. Born in Lennoxtown, Scotland she came to Buffalo at the age of 21.She married Patrick O’Sullivan and raised her family in South Buffalo. The Buffalo St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The procession begins at Niagara Square, heading north along Delaware Avenue before concluding at North Street. As one of the most beloved annual events in Buffalo, spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best viewing spots along the route. Saturday, March 15 – Old Neighborhood St. Patrick’s Day Parade. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., intermittent road closures and lane restrictions will take place along the parade route in South Buffalo. The following streets will be closed to traffic during the parade: South Park Avenue; Smith Street; Elk Street; Hamburg Street; South Street The city of Buffalo is gearing up for not just one, but its two annual Saint Patrick’s Day parades this weekend.
