10. 41st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade @ 5 Points South. What: Get into the Irish spirit: The annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is back in Birmingham’s Five Points South for its 41st year this March. The fun kicks off at 1:30PM on 10th Ave South and will be led by the Ian Sturrock Memorial Pipe Band and other local groups. Alchemy Run Crew is partnering with Children’s of Alabama for the St. Paddy’s Day 5K in Southside. The best part? 100% of proceeds from the race (including merchandise sold) will go to local organizations. Right after the race, you can celebrate at Birmingham’s 41st annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities.
