Rain or shine! The beloved annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is set to return to San Diego’s Balboa Park on March 15, 2025. While I personally love the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, the energy of a Saturday with my family in the cool spring San Diego weather enjoying a lively parade and festivities is something I’m really looking forward to experiencing. Festival grounds open: 9 a.m. and the Parade Starts: 10:30 a After the parade, Balboa Park is the gathering spot for a day of Irish brews, foods, entertainment, booths, and good times with friends in one San Diego's most beautiful spots. St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. when the bands begin playing and kilt-clad units begin marching forward with their best plaids on display. St. Patricks Day Parade and Irish Festival will be held on March 15th, 2025. This festival will feature great entertainment, parade, Irish folk singers and bands, Irish step dancers, kid s zone, craft booths, Celtic food village, beer garden, and much more. Hours: 9am-6pm. Information: Some events do get cancelled or postponed due to various St. Patrick’s weekend deal: Duck Dive in Pacific Beach is serving St. Patrick’s Day deals for four days. The featured drink specials will be $8 Guinness and green beers, $8 green tea shots, $8 St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival 9 a.m. at Balboa Park| Free The family friendly festival is free to attend. Throughout the day, an event-filled Irish Festival in Balboa Park (Sixth and Maple San Diego's St. Patrick's Parade and Festival is the largest family-friendly event in San Diego. Let the kids run off some energy in the kid zone while spending a day in beautiful Balboa Park enjoying Irish culture, music, and more! An Irish Festival will be held in Balboa Park between Laurel and Quince until 6 pm. There are Food Booths, Craft Booths, Beer Garden with Live Entertainment and a Kids Zone located in the main festival area along Balboa Drive & El Prado.
